White Rock Advisors, LLC is pleased to announce it recently advised a supplier of natural botanicals (“The Company”) on its sale to a strategic buyer (“The Strategic Buyer”).
The Company was founded in the early 1980’s and began with the vision of producing the finest botanical extracts available to the personal care industry. The Company is dedicated to the research, development and production of cutting-edge natural performance ingredients and botanical actives. As part of the sale, The Company will become a subsidiary of The Strategic Buyer, but plans to operate in much of the same manner.
The Strategic Buyer, which was founded nearly 90 years ago, is a technology-driven global company headquartered in Ohio. Their focus is on combining complex chemicals to optimize the quality, performance and value of consumer products, while reducing their impact on the environment. Some of their products include lubricant additives for engine oils, as well as chemicals used in many household products such as shampoos, soaps, skin creams, and medicines. The Strategic Buyer has a strong global presence, as it owns and operates manufacturing facilities in nearly 20 different countries.
The Strategic Buyer plans to increase visibility within the personal and home care products market, specifically the botanical extracts and natural performance ingredients market. A team from White Rock Advisors, led by Simon Martin and Greg Hext, advised management of The Company throughout the sales process.
